Aubergine49 is a modern European fine dining establishment situated a short distance from the UNESCO ancient town of Hoi An. We are the first restaurant of this style of dining in the area. Here at Aubergine49, we believe that giving you a quality experience is of upmost importance. From our locally sourced produce to our finest imported ingredients we are proud to present to you our Eurasian inspired dishes.

After ten years honing his culinary skills under some of the world’s leading chefs such as Paul Gayler of London’s The Lanesborough Hotel, Rick Stein of Padstow’s ‘The Seafood’ Restaurant and Seiji Yamamoto of Nihonryori Ryugin (a three Michelin starred restaurant in Tokyo), local son and chef Nguyen Nhu Thinh has returned home to create a fresh new venue with global flavours.

Are you looking for a nice villa to stay in Hoi An?

Heron House is not only spoiled with its tranquil location, but also by the design of its three spacious rooms. Our three well-decorated rooms each measure around 65 square meters, leaving ample space inside to stretch out and make yourselves at home. If guests prefer to relax outdoors however, each room comes with a large veranda equipped with an outdoor sunbed, a hammock, and a set of chairs and coffee table… perfect for long lazy days spent with a book, a glass of wine, and stunning views of the rice fields.
